The Concierge Saddle Package is designed for riders who want professional guidance through the entire saddle selection process, from initial evaluation and measurement to confirmed fit under motion.

This package includes two structured sessions and ongoing sourcing in between, allowing for careful, informed saddle selection without rushing decisions or forcing a fit.

Session 1: Initial Saddle Fitting & Measurement

This first appointment establishes the foundation for correct saddle fit.

During this session, I perform a full static and dynamic assessment of your horse, evaluating back shape, movement, and overall comfort. I review your current saddle and tack when applicable, take detailed back and wither measurements, and discuss your discipline, riding goals, preferences, and budget to guide the saddle selection process.

This session allows me to determine what will and will not work for your horse before any saddle sourcing begins.

Saddle Sourcing & Shortlisting (Between Sessions)

After Session 1, I research and source saddle options based on your horse’s measurements, movement, discipline, rider needs, and budget. Only saddles that are realistic potential matches are presented, keeping the process focused on options that truly make sense for you and your horse.

Session 2: Saddle Trial & Fit Confirmation

During the second appointment, I return with selected saddles to evaluate fit on your horse. We assess static saddle fit, evaluate stability and comfort under motion, and make system adjustments where applicable. Based on your horse’s response, we discuss next steps. If a saddle does not fit correctly, the process continues with additional sourcing and trials until the correct match is identified.

A Clear, Professional Saddle Selection Process

The Concierge Saddle Package is a structured saddle selection process guided by accurate measurements and how your horse moves and responds under saddle. Saddle choices are based on fit, function, and availability at the time of sourcing.

I work with both consignment and new saddles, and each follows a different approach:

1. Consignment Saddles
Consignment saddles are sourced across multiple brands. Because these saddles are already built, the focus is on evaluating tree shape, balance, and overall compatibility with the horse and rider. Availability depends on what is currently on the market, so suitable options are not always immediately available, but this approach allows for a broad and flexible search when looking for the right fit.

2. New Saddles
For new saddles, I limit my recommendations to brands I am trained to work with. Adjustable English, hybrid, and stock saddles require brand-specific knowledge to set up correctly and to adjust safely as a horse changes over time. For that reason, I work with Wintec, Bates, and Arena.

Western saddles follow a different approach. Because they are not adjustable in the same way, correct tree selection from the start is critical. For Western saddles, I work with brands where I know the tree options and specifications well enough to choose the correct foundation for the horse, including Fabtron and Crates.

I am continuously evaluating additional brands and training opportunities, so this list may expand in the future as I add systems I trust and am qualified to work with.
