About Me

Hello! My name is Sarah, owner of Bucking Belgian Saddle Fitting LLC. I am originally from Belgium, but settled down in Port Orchard (Washington State). As a mobile fitter, I travel all across the PNW to help trail and distance riders find the right fit for their horse.

I have been trail riding solo since I was 10 years old and still feel happiest spending long hours out on the trail. Over the years, I worked as a trail guide in Sweden and Florida and completed treks throughout Europe. Those experiences taught me how important comfort, balance, and trust are for both horse and rider, especially during long hours under saddle.

That passion eventually led me into saddle fitting education. I attended the World Class Western Saddle Fitter course with Wendy Winn and am currently continuing my education through the Saddlefit4Life Equine Ergonomics certification program, focusing on biomechanics, movement, and horse-first saddle fitting.

My goal is always to help horses and riders feel comfortable, balanced, and confident together, whether that means improving your current setup or helping you explore new saddle options.
