Workshops

My goal is to help improve horse welfare together with you. One of the biggest pieces of that puzzle is knowledge and collaboration.

I am trained and mentored under Wendy Winn, whose passion for education and collaboration inspires me to share what I’ve learned with other riders and owners.

During this workshop, I guide you through the fascinating (and sometimes complex) world of saddle fitting. You’ll learn how to recognize when a saddle is sitting correctly on your horse and how to do a basic assessment yourself.

This workshop is not a replacement for hiring a qualified saddle fitter, but it will give you the confidence to understand what you’re seeing and to know when your horse may need professional support.

We’ll cover:

  • How a saddle influences your horse and its biomechanics

  • The key markers of a properly fitting saddle

  • How different Western saddle models work and why each discipline requires its own type of tack.

  • How to check if your tack is still safe and suitable
